Please consider helping FoSVC at the Spring 2017 Clean Up Event on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Learn about progress made to restore order and dignity at St. Vincent Cemetery.

Nestled in the golf course in the middle of Clifton Park in Baltimore, is a small five acre cemetery. To the casual observer, it just looks like open space park land, but closer observation reveals four clusters of tombstones.

How did it get this way? There was a long history of desecrations to the point the city of Baltimore recommended bulldozing the tombstones, many under layers of soil.  It remained that way for almost 30 years until a small group of descendants found each other and formed the Friends of St. Vincent Cemetery (FOSVC).

The mission of the FOSVC is to develop St. Vincent Cemetery into a memorial park that will complement Clifton Park with a monument dedicated to all those buried in the cemetery.
